The Paulding County School District is excited to give parents the opportunity to learn more about the Academy programs available to our high school students.
These Academy programs are specialized to give students opportunities to develop the skills that will prepare them for careers in high-demand career areas.
Each of these programs offers students the ability to gain college credit through Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses, hands-on job experience through Work-Based Learning, and industry recognized certifications that will allow them to obtain a job immediately after graduation.

Hiram High School

Designed for students who desire to think critically and solve real-world problems while learning Coding, App and Game Development, Programming, and Information Technology.
Vision: To engage, inspire, and prepare students with a globally relevant, CS education that equips them with the tools to positively impact our community and the world.

South Paulding High School

Will be the newest Academy, opening at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, and will offer students the opportunity to develop skills in Engineering Applications, Concepts, and Technology.
Mission: To forge lifelong learners through Analysis, Innovation, and Modeling to pioneer and lead in the modern world.

Georgia DOE STEM Certified, offers unique opportunities for highly motivated students who are high achievers, academic risk-takers, and are willing to pursue intellectual challenges in their award-winning Biotechnology pathway and the Allied Health and Medicine Pathway.

PCCA

Offers students at all five PCSD high schools the opportunity to develop skills in Health Care, Energy, Cybersecurity, and Mechatronics. Business and Industry experts develop the programs at PCCA and ensure that students have cutting-edge skills that will earn them jobs in high-demand, high-paying careers in our county, region, and state immediately upon graduation, and college credit that will give them a head-start on obtaining a degree.
