What is STEM?
STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach these four disciplines as separate subjects, STEM integrates them into cohesive learning based on real-world applications.

P.B. Ritch Creates Makerspace, thanks to grant from Clorox
On October 30, 2017, P.B. Ritch Middle School held a grand opening for their new Makerspace.
Jumping Into STEMscopesPaulding County has a new digital science resource for Kindergarten through 8th grade and high school Chemistry students at teachers: STEMscopes! From August 1st through October 9th, there were nearly 7,600 logins to the resource. Scopes (lessons) have been utilized by teachers over 37,000 times!
