Welcome to New Teacher Orientation!  We are excited you are joining our district! New Teacher Orientation is provided for you in order to share important information you will need as you begin your career with the Paulding County School District. You will have the opportunity to participate in multiple sessions that are applicable to you and your new position.  You may choose the sessions you attend; however, counselors, CTAE teachers, and special education teachers have a few required sessions as part of the day. All participants must go to one HR session. 

For each class that you attend you will receive a $35.00 stipend up to $175. Please make sure you sign in at each session and that you receive a sticker for your passport (green paper located in your folder) before leaving the session. Your passport is the documentation that will be used for paying stipends. Please make sure you turn in your passport with all information complete before you leave for the day.

While the virtual experience of NTO is a new one to Paulding County, we sincerely hope your orientation is a valuable professional learning experience that will provide a smooth transition as you begin your career with our district.
