    Jacob chose Mrs. Heidi Leonard as his STAR Teacher. 

    Congratulations to our PCHS local winner and PCSD District PAGE STAR Winner, Jacob King, who went to the Region 1 award ceremony last night at Coosa County Country Club and tied with 4 other students for first place! He was in good company as he competed with 23 other school districts in our region. We will be moving onto the State competition on April 23rd! We’re so proud of Jacob for all his hard work and his upstanding character and for representing our school and district well! And a huge thank you to the Paulding Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring us in this program!

    If you took one or more Georgia Milestone End of Course Exams the  Individual Score Reports are now available for pick up.  If you would like a copy of the report you may pick it up in the Guidance office at Paulding County High School from 8:00-4:00 Monday through Friday.

  • LSC LSC l for their performances at the State Literary Competition this Saturday.  Mackenzie placed 2nd in the state for her personal essay, and Elliott's performance was hilarious.  Great job you two!

    • Happy youth art month! Paulding County high school will be holding its 33rd annual Student Art Show from March 19th thru March 23rd, with a closing ceremony on March 22nd in the media center from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. This will also serve as our National Art Honors Society induction. Any students interested in submitting work for this art show should turn them into Mrs Thomas in room 240 no later than March 15th. Cash prizes will be awarded for this juried art show. See Mrs Thomas for more information and an entry form.

  • Attention freshman, sophomores, and jr’s: there will be a class of 2019 parent night for current jr’s on Monday, march 26th, a class of 2020 parent night for current sophomores on Wednesday, march 28th and a class of 2021 parent night for current freshmen on thrusday, march 29th. Sessions for all three nights will be available at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 in the media center. Bring your parents to whichever session is most convenient.

  • Sophomores & juniors:  are you interested in being able to leave school early, go to work, earn money & get high school credit?  If so, then work-based learning might be for you.  Registration is now open for next year.  Please see mrs. Parker in room 820 for more information.
