The ESSER funds provides education funding to state education agencies and local education agencies to support schools as they are dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund distributes funds to LEAs (school systems) based on their Title I allocations. The Paulding County School District received $3 million from the CARES Act (ESSER I), $12.6 million from the CRRSA Act (ESSER II) and $28.3 million from the ARP Act (ESSER III).
