Accountability

  • The College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) is Georgia’s statewide accountability tool, developed by the Georgia Department of Education. Each year, CCRPI measures how well schools, districts, and the state are preparing students for the next stage of learning.

CCRPI provides a clear, comprehensive roadmap for educators, parents, and community members to understand student achievement and to support continuous improvement in college and career readiness.

    How CCRPI is Measured

CCRPI includes five main components, each scored on a scale from 0 to 100:

    • Achievement

    • Progress

    • Closing Gaps

    • Readiness

    • Graduation Rate (high school only)

In addition to these scores, CCRPI also reports other important information, such as:

    • Performance of student subgroups

    • School climate ratings

    • Financial efficiency status

    Recent Updates

As part of Georgia’s Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan, the CCRPI calculation methods were updated in 2023. These updates were approved by the U.S. Department of Education on October 4, 2023.
