    The Paulding County School District's SRO Program is a partnership between the school system and the Paulding County Sheriff's Office to protect the 34,000+ students, staff, and visitors on our 34 school campuses. These Sheriff's Deputies provide direct service to our schools, which includes: campus safety consultations, classroom presentations, school investigations, and a variety of other activities, including traditional law enforcement duties.

    The District fully funds the SRO program, covering the complete salary and benefits for all positions. Furthermore, an extra 5% incentive pay is provided to support the Sheriff's Office in the recruitment and retention of a skilled and dedicated School Resource Officer team. The SROs operate under the policies and guidance of the Paulding County Sheriff's Office and are located within the Juvenile Division of the Sheriff's Office.
