This is my second year at East Paulding High School! I fell in love with the school, teachers, students, and community! I am EPHS Evaluation and Assessment Coordinator. I am also one of the Advanced Placement Program coordinators. My primary goal is to support teachers in their classroom instruction and data use to prepare our students for college and career and allow them to reveal their full potential. I am excited about the initiatives and effectives instruction that is taking place at East! We are One Incredible Raider!

Prior to becoming a Raider, I served as a middle and high school mathematics instructor, mathematics consultant, instructional coach, mentor, and curriculum writer. I was fortunate to have participated in development and facilitation of the Georgia Department of Education professional learning sessions, served on Georgia Department of Education Resource Revision Teams, and consulted with several Georgia districts in the development and delivery of their professional learning sessions.

Franklin D. Roosevelt is credited with the quote "We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future." This quote reflects my educational philosophy and passion for student college and career readiness. I support the habits of mind our students will need in workplace of the future.

I have two sweet and caring chidlren. My daughter is working on becoming a math teacher, following her mother's and grandparents' footsteps. My son is still in high school; he is planning on becoming a mechanical engineer. We love reading, taking care of our two dogs, cooking out, going to the movies, and spending time with our extended family.
