My name is Mrs. Knowles and I would like to welcome you to my class. I am a wife and mother of 2. Our son is a sophomre at Fort Valley State University, and our daughter is a very energetic 2nd grader. Yes, our children are 12.5 years apart. As you can imagine, my life is very chaotic, but it is fun. I hold a bachelor's degree in both biology, with an emphasis in pre-medicine, and psychology, with a minor in both spanish and sociology. I have worked in various disciplines of medicine from phlebotomy, cytogenetics, to human tissue processing with over 8 years experience. I obtained my Master's degree in teaching secondary science with an emphasis on middle school science and high school life and began my teaching career in Calhoun, Ga. in 2013. I have taught all forms of Biology, as well as middle school advanced physical science. In 2015, I became an East Paulding High School Raider.  EPHS has become the second home for my family, as my son graduated from here in 2019. I love science and look forward to sharing my passiion and background in science with your student.
