Welcome to what I know will be an exceptional year here at EPHS!  This is my 14th year being part of a great team at East.  Prior to this, I taught in Floyd County for 11 years.  I teach in the ESEP department, where I mostly provide instruction in a co-taught setting in the content area of Social Studies.  I have two children of my own: Will is 18 and Kade is 16.  I've been married for over 22 years to my husband, Jacob Hughes who is a Professional Engineer and works for BM&K Construction and Engineering.
