Academic Team The Academic Team engages against other schools in “High-Q” style competitions within the region and in tournaments with teams from across the country. State competitions are normally held on Saturday. Liam Buckley - ✉Key Club We provide our members with opportunities to serve, build character, and develop leadership. Key Club members around the world are learning how to lead and stand for what’s right through service and volunteerism. In partnership with their local Kiwanis club, high school students make a positive impact as they serve others in their schools and communities. National Honor Society The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. The NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service & Character. Membership is by invitation only in accordance with national criteria during the Junior & Senior year PAWS Saving animals is our desire. Club participants will work alongside the Paulding Humane Society to assist in finding a “forever” home for animals. Elizabeth Wheeler - ✉ ?? Raiders Dance Club The Raiders Dance Club strives to empower each student to reach his or her full potential by developing knowledge, skills, character, and confidence through dance. All students will learn various dance movements from diverse cultures while learning about the history of dances, learning to work together as a team (improving conflict resolution skills) and performing to build confidence. EPHS Theatre Company This is an after-school Theatre program. We have participation opportunities for students onstage and backstage. The collaborative and disciplined nature of the work builds time management, communication and creative problem-solving skills of the students involved. Britt Hensley - ✉ EPHS Theatre Company EPHS International Thespian Troup # 5586 This is an extracurricular club for East Paulding’s advanced and dedicated Theatre students. With this organization, there are multiple community service opportunities as well as conferences that offer insight into theatrical careers, college theatre programs and scholarship opportunities. Britt Hensley - ✉ EPHS Theatre Company Sources of Strength A best practice youth mental health promotion and suicide prevention program designed to harness the power of peer social networks to create healthy norms and culture, ultimately preventing suicide, violence, bullying, and substance misuse. The mission of Sources of Strength is to prevent adverse outcomes by increasing wellbeing, help-seeking, resiliency, healthy coping, and belonging. Jordan Bourn - ✉
