Mrs. Debbie Routt

Mrs. Routt is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from the famous Little Rock Central High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Tennessee Temple University and her Master's degree from the University of West Georgia. Mrs. Routt began her teaching career in 1994 at Armuchee High School in Rome, Georgia.  She has been a business teacher for 20 years and since joining the staff of SPHS in 2014 began teaching high school students who are interested in the teaching profession. Also, since 2004 she has been a Work-Based Learning Coordinator for the Paulding County School District.

During breaks and on weekends, Mrs. Routt loves to spend time with her son, Alex, daughter-in-law Anna, and especially her grandchildren Sam and Sadie. She is a collector of all things black and white, Longaberger baskets, and snowmen.
