This is my 26th year of teaching - my 13th year here at South Paulding High School. I was born and raised in Douglas County, and I started my teaching career there. My first four years of teaching occurred at Chapel Hill Middle School. I taught at Chapel Hill High School for 9 years before coming to South Paulding.
Prior to teaching, I received my bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education from Shorter University. Later, I received my master's degree from the State University of West Georgia.
I have taught many different grade levels over the years, but I am glad to be teaching 9th Grade Literature / Composition again this year.
