This will be my 14th year teaching and fifth at SPHS and I love being a Spartan. My son graduated in May 2016 from SPHS and will be attending college at University of West Georgia. I have another son who is a junior. My daughter is a new mom as a beautiful baby girl arrived Christmas Eve 2015 and twin girls born May 15, 2018. S
I love literature as reading is a wonderful escape from the trappings of everyday life. I also enjoy writing of any kind. I find it an escape and offering me an opportunity to learn new things. I promised myself that I would be a life long learner because the world of education is ever changing.
I received my first bachelor's in political science from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!!! If you are not a fan, I will not hold that against you.) After the arrival of my second son, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher. So, off to the University of West Georgia I went and received by bachelor's in education. I have since completed my master's and specialist degrees from Nova Southeastern University based in Florida.
I love to spend time with my children and family, read, write, and travel. My dream vacation is to tour Scotland from one end of the country to the other.
I look forward to having your child in my class. I am a stickler for rules and will push them to be the best student they can possibly be.
