Coach Neal is in his 6th year teaching and coaching with the Spartans. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in December of 2014 with a Health and Physical Education degree, as well as a Coaching minor. Coach Neal teaches Health, Personal Fitness, Recreational Games, and I.S.S. He also coaches football at SPHS.
Prior to South Paulding, Coach Neal spent four years coaching in the middle school program and freshmen levels at Harrison High School. Coach Neal also coached the Atlanta Defenders in the National Public Safety Football League for five seasons as a wide receivers coach, as well as defensive coordinator. While with the NPSFL, he won two National Championships in 2010 and 2012. In the fall of 2014, Coach Neal student taught and coached football at Kennesaw Mountain High School, where he was the varsity wide receivers coach. Coach Neal played football for four years at Harrison High School and at LaGrange College in 2007.
