About the Instructor: I am a twenty-one year veteran of teaching Auto (20 years in Paulding County), along with three more years of substitute teaching in the career areas. I have worked on machines and vehicles ranging from small engine tools to tractor trailers. Cars, light trucks, heavy earth moving equipment, farm equipment and machining equipment are among the things that I have had experience repairing and maintaining. I worked professionally in the field for 13 years. I hold an Associates degree in Automotive Trades, a Bachelors degree in Vocational/Career Education, and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. I have had the pleasure to achieve and maintain industry certification in my previous program as well as SPHS's. Active through June 2020

I am ASE certified in the following areas.

Engine Repair, Electronics and Electrical Systems,

Manual Draivetrain and Axles, Heating and Air Conditioning,

Suspension and Steering, Engine Performance, G1 General maintenance, and Brakes.

* I have held Diesel certifications in the past as well.

I am proud to say that I am a co-leader of the Skills USA club here at SPHS. We have had many region and state competitors and have had winners in both areas.
