Coach Oglesby is one of the charter faculty members at SPHS starting here in 2006 when the school opened. Prior to coming to SPHS, she taught fourteen years at Harrison High School in Cobb County where she taught physical education and coached softball and basketball. Her teaching responsibilities here at South include Personal Fitness, Health, and Sports Medicine. In addition to teaching, Coach Oglesby is the Head Softball Coach, Girls' Golf Coach, FCA Sponsor and Sports Medicine Club Sponsor. She has two children, Kalin and Jake, who both graduated from SPHS and her husband, John, is a retired teacher/football coach. Coach Oglesby loves dogs and is a proud fan of Georgia Southern (her alma mater) and UGA! Go Dawgs!!
