Week of March 20, 2023
Congratulations to the Symphonic Band and Symphonic Winds for earning superior ratings on stage and in sight reading at the Large Group Performance Evaluation on Friday. Both bands presented challenging concert programs and we are so proud of your accomplishments and hard work.
The PCHS Gay-Straight Alliance will be meeting this Friday, March 24th, to tie dye t-shirts. Any paid member of the club is invited to participate. If you would like to join GSA, dues are $10 and may be paid through RevTrak or to Ms. Nero in room 804. Please let Ms. Nero know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
Are you interested in becoming a lineman, working in cybersecurity, or building manufacturing robots? Those classes and more are offered at our Paulding College and Career Academy. Please stop by the counseling office and sign up to learn more.
Attention all Sophomores and Juniors: Are you interested in being able to leave school early, go to work, earn money and get high school credit? If so, then Work-Based Learning might be for you. Registration is now open. Please see Mrs. Parker in room 820 for more information.

PCSD ESEP Student Transition Conference
Paulding County Transition Fair connects students with disabilities with resources to support their journeys to adulthood. Students from all five high schools attended the Transition Fair on March 24, 2023.

Dual Enrollment Virtual Summit
The school district's Dual Enrollment Virtual Summit was held March 15, 2023 and gave a wealth of valuable information about the Dual Enrollment Program for high school students and students who will be in high school next year. Click here to watch the video!

Foundation Thursday 2023 a Big Success!
Foundation Thursday was a great day as Foundation board members and district leadership visited schools to award gift cards and prizes, all in recognition of the great support the Foundation provides students and staff.

Public Review of Social Studies Resources
PCSD will hold a period of public review for Social Studies Learning Resource Adoption between March 6 – March 31, 2023. Parents, students, and community members are invited to view the resources and provide feedback to help in the final selection of K-12 Social Studies resources. The resources can be viewed digitally. We encourage all stakeholders to provide feedback.

All Five High Schools Named AP Honor Schools!
All five Paulding County high schools have been named AP Honor Schools for 2023 by the Georgia Department of Education. Each school received the designation in multiple categories that recognize schools for excellence in Advanced Placement courses and performance.
