About Paulding County High
THE Paulding County High School (PCHS) was established in 1969 following the merger of Dallas High School, the old Hiram High School, and Matthews High School. PCHS is located in the rural community of Dallas, Georgia along Villa Rica Highway. PCHS is a four-year, comprehensive high school serving 9th through 12th graders and follows a hybrid schedule which consists of a mixture of traditional and block classes. Within Paulding County High School is the prestigious and competitive STEM certified Academy of Science, Research and Medicine, which provides a rigorous curriculum and expansive hands-on opportunities for accepted students that wish to pursue a career within the biotech and medical fields after graduation. Currently, traditional classes are year-long classes while block classes are completed in 18 weeks.
