Welcome to Mrs. Baumgart’s Class

I am ready to start a new year of school. I have missed all of you and I am excited to meet our new students! I would like to introduce myself to those who do not know me.

My name is Mrs. Baumgart.  I have been teaching in the classroom for 20 years.  I am married with five children. My youngest graduated from North Paulding High School in May 2020.  One of my daughter’s is the new music teacher at Hutchens Elementary School.  I have a dachshund named Penny.  I enjoy being outside, so I spent most of my summer working on my yard and my garden.  My passion is working with students and helping them to learn and grow.

We will be starting the school year with 3 days of in class instruction and 2 days of digital learning for the first week.  This year we will be eating in our classrooms more often. Yeah!!  I know this was a treat last year.  We will keep a daily agenda and there will be homework Monday – Thursday this year.  Homework will begin August 10^th.  This homework will be a mix of digital and paper/pencil.
