Why is Mental Health Important?
Mental health refers to one's well-being: emotionally, psychologically, and socially. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
At Scoggins Middle School, Mental Health matters, and we are always looking for resources to help our students overcome their barriers. Below are links to professional counseling resources that can be helpful for you and your child.
