Dear Abney Eagles, 

I am super excited to kick off the 2025-2026 school year! I am looking forward to meeting our new Eagles and those who will be returning. I have always been deeply committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. I believe that every child has unique talents and strengths, and it is our responsibility as educators to zero in on those to nurture and guide them toward success. My educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that education is a partnership between the school, families, and the community. This year, I will continue to build a positive school climate and culture at Abney and look forward to engaging with each of you to ensure that all our students feel valued and receive the best possible educational experience. I will empower all staff members to use relationships and data to further develop our students into the lifelong learners that we strive for them to be. Together, we will continue to celebrate achievements, address concerns, and explore innovative ways to enhance the overall learning journey.
