• Bachelor of Science in English Education from Florida International University, Florida

 

• Master of Science in Curriculum, Instruction and Technology from Nova Southeastern University, Florida

 

I have been teaching High School English for 16 years.  I taught 7 years in Miami-Dade County, Florida and 9 years in Paulding County to date. 

My goal is to share my passion for literature with my students and to help them succeed in my class, on the state assessments, and beyond. 

I moved to Paulding County 9 years ago from Miami, Florida. I am married and we have 3 very handsome and energetic sons. Our oldest son is 20 years old and is currently attending Georgia Institute of Technology. Our second oldest is 15 years old, and our youngest turned 11 in July.   

I have an insatiable appetite for books. I love to read!!! I recently finished reading a series of books called A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. It is so good!! I find myself loving characters that I hated and hating characters that I loved. This author is keeping me on my toes and I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. A few of my favorite authors include J.R.R Tolkien, Stephen King, Jasper Fforde, J.K. Rowling, and Terry Pratchett.
