Joe Rhea
Physical Education Teacher
FCA Director
Hey Everyone,
Welcome to my webpage. I started teaching at Moses Middle School in 2004. Before that, I taught and coached boys basketball at Hiram High School for 5 years. I started my teaching career at Paulding County High School in 1998. I grew up playing every sport that was available. Naturally that led me to become at Physcial Education teacher.
My philosohy of teaching is that Physical Education should be looked at as a place to enjoy yourself and have fun! It is also a place to grow and discover movement, sportsmanship, and teamwork. By creating a solid base for fitness, health, and wellness, a child will develop mental awareness, stamina, and better self-esteem. Every effort should be made to encourage students to participate in activities. By maintaining physical activity, children will create healthy habits tha can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
I also am the director of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at Moses. FCA is considered a club that meets on Wednesday mornings in the gym. We ususally have an activity followed by a short devotion.
Please contact me through email if you have concerns or interests.
