Hi, my name is Thomas Whited. This will be my 5th year as a classroom teacher. I am certified in 6-12 science, 4-8 math, and 4-8 social studies. I have a Bachelor's degree in Science Education from Kennesaw State University and will soon complete my Master's degree in December. 

My goal as a science teacher will be to prepare students for advanced-level science courses in high school and beyond by emphasizing critical thinking skills, creativity, and engagement in science and engineering practices. Our class will emphasize a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to science concepts and themes.
