    Hello, and welcome to my page.

I look forward to meeting them and having a year to teach your child not just science and math, but everyday things to make them succesful for a lifetime. 

     

    A little about me:

    My name is Christi Hoffman and this is my first year at McClure Middle School. This will be 16 years of teaching. For the last 2 1/2 years, Paulding County High School was my home teaching math. Previously, I lived in Southwest Florida and served in Middle Grades Science, Math, and as a Behavior Specialist. Before that, we lived in Tennessee and I served as a Elementary Physical Education Teacher. So, now I have taught all three levels of school and believe it or not have enjoyed each level. I am excited to be back at the middle school, and even more excited to be joining this "United" staff at McClure Middle. Already I feel so welcome and at home.

     

    Why the change to McClure:

    The move  to McClure was to better support my family. Having family members at all three school levels and being a good distance from them made things difficult. I am married and have 2 boys and a Goldendoodle. One of my boys is a fourth grader and the other will be joining me here at McClure. We are a sports family and love anything outdoors. However, BASEBALL is our family thing. We have been to all but 7 Major League Baseball stadiums. When we take the trips for baseball, we also take time to see the history, zoos, and sights of the surrounding area. This has also allowed us to learn a lot about the United States. This pandemic has sure stopped this family goal. However, when things calm down we hope to get in the rest of the stadiums. For now we will settle for the empty stands and live baseball on TV. Both of our boys also play baseball most of the year.
