    Get to know me:

    Hobbies: When I am not teaching, I love to bake, read, and do macrame. I bake all sorts of things- cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls, cobbler, apple crisp, etc. I actually used to work as a baker and barista at a coffee shop for 3 years prior to teaching, and I just never stopped because I enjoy it so much! I love to read all genres of novels, but I love YA fiction and mysteries the most. I learned to do macrame a few years ago, and have created countless things since. The best part of macrame, in my opinion, is that you can create almost anything- wall hangings, plant hangers, keychains, bookmarks, pacifier clips, coasters, etc. These 3 hobbies are what I spend most of my free time doing. 

    Other Fun Facts: I love Halloween. It is by far my favorite holiday, and you can expect my classroom to be full of various pumpkin decor during fall. Unsurprisingly, I also love scary movies and haunted houses. I never go a day without a cup of coffee (if I'm honest, I usually never go a day without at least 2 cups).
