• Hello!

    I am beginning my first year at Herschel Jones Middle School. I was a high school band director for 13 years prior to moving to HJMS. I earned my bachelor degree in music education from the University of North Alabama, my master's degree in education from Auburn University, and my doctor of philosophy from Georgia State University. I am excited to be teaching 8th grade math this year. I am getting married in September of this year, and I am excited to spend more time with our family of four and our dog Casey. 

     

    I am a saxophone and piano player, I am a diehard Star Wars fan, and I enjoy grilling and smoking meat on my Kamado Joe grill.
