The Herschel Jones Middle School Band Program consists of 140 students that perform with 6th Grade Beginning Band, 7th/8th Grade Band, Symphonic Band, and various chamber ensembles.  The bands at Herschel Jones Middle School perform several concerts throughout the year including community performances and GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluations.  In recent years members of the HJMS Bands have performed at honor bands and clinics such as the GMEA District 7 Honor Band, GMEA District 7 Honor Clinic Band, the Reinhardt University Middle School Band Clinic and Bravo Music Camp at Berry College.
