Ms. Priscilla Smith

It is with great pleasure that I am the current "Beekeeper" to the Hutchens Honeybees. I have been in education for the past 25 years. I began my career in Augusta, Georgia with the Richmond County School District, where I taught Kindergarten, first and second grades. I later moved to Spartanburg, South Carolina and taught in Spartanburg County District Five Schools. There I taught third and fourth grade. After being in South Carolina for four years, I returned to Georgia and moved to Cobb County. While working with the Cobb County School District, I taught second grade and fifth grade. I was also an Instructional Lead Teacher (ILT) and an Assistant Principal. I became a Principal with the Paulding County School District in 2009, at Panter Elementary, and I am now happy to be a part of "The Hive" at Hal Hutchens Elementary.
