About Allgood Elementary

  • About Allgood Elementary

Allgood Elementary School opened its doors for the first time to faculty and students on November 4, 1998. Allgood was named after a family of educators spanning over 120 years, who donated the land for Allgood Elementary to be built. Dr. Brian Otott, former Superintendent of Paulding County School District, was named the first principal of Allgood. For the first part of the school year, half of the student body was housed at Dallas Elementary with the other half at Nebo Elementary. Allgood opened with approximately 500 students and 50 staff members. Allgood had several empty classrooms, but that did not take long to change. Now Allgood serves around 800 students with a large staff of educators and service providers.

Allgood continuously strives for student success. We have always had a great faculty and staff who have worked well together, always keeping students as our number one priority. We believe this is what makes Allgood one of the best schools in the county! Our focus is on ensuring all students receive what they need to achieve academic growth so that they develop the skills to be “future adults”.
