About Allgood Elementary

  • Allgood Elementary School opened its doors for the first time to faculty and students on November 4, 1998.  Allgood was named after a family of educators spanning over 120 years, who donated the land for Allgood Elementary to be built. Dr. Otott, now Superintendent of Paulding County School District, was named the first principal of Allgood. For the first part of the school year, half of the student body was housed at Dallas Elementary with the other half at Nebo Elementary. Allgood opened with approximately 500 students and 50 staff members. Allgood had several empty classrooms, but that did not take long to change. Now Allgood serves over 850 students with a staff of approximately 105. Allgood still has seven staff members serving the school, who opened Allgood's doors. Allgood is now the 4th largest elementary school in Paulding County.

Allgood strives to continuously ensure student success. We have always had a great faculty and staff who have worked well together, always keeping students as our number one priority. We believe this is what makes Allgood one of the best schools in the county!
