• Dear Parents,

    Welcome to Venture!  I have been teaching since 1995.  I taught first, second, fourth, and fifth grade as well.  I have been at Allgood since 2002, and this is my seventh year as the gifted teacher.

    I will have your child for one day of each week.  The standards ask me to teach your kids to do research, think critically, problem-solve, and to communicate with others.  We will do projects as a whole class, in small groups, and as individuals. 

    Students may bring a snack for their Venture day.  They may also bring a water bottle (water ONLY, please). 

    Monday—first and second, Tuesday—virtual 5th grade, Wednesday—third, and Thursday—fourth and fifth.  Fridays are reserved for testing and identifying new students.
