Principal's Message
I am incredibly honored and excited to join McClure Middle School as your new principal. My name is Tammy Ponder, and I bring with me a deep-rooted passion for education and a strong connection to this community. Many of you may already know me from my involvement in opening North Paulding High School back in 2007, and then most recently serving as one of McClure Middle School's Assistant Principals. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving as both a teacher and an administrator, witnessing firsthand the exceptional potential of our students.
At McClure Middle School, we have encountered significant changes in recent times, including shifts in our student body and staff size. However, amidst these transformations, our commitment to the values exemplified by our namesake, Mr. Sammy McClure Sr., remains unwavering. Integrity, hard work, service to community, and commitment to growth are not just words but principles that guide our every action.
Building a successful school is a collaborative effort, one that involves every member of our community. I am eager to partner with our outstanding group of teachers, staff, parents, and students to continue our mission of Empowering Today's Learners to become Tomorrow's Leaders. Together, we will create an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and personally.
I am deeply honored to lead McClure Middle School into its next chapter of excellence. My role is not just about leadership but about fostering a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility. I am here to support and empower each member of our school community as we work together to achieve our goals.
I look forward to meeting each of you in the coming weeks and months. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any ideas, questions, or concerns you may have. Let us embark on this journey together, united in our dedication to the success and well-being of every student at McClure Middle School.
Warm regards,
Tammy Ponder
