Principal's Message

  • Welcome to the 2022/2023 School Year,

It is with great pleasure I welcome you to Dobbins Middle School. We are so excited for you to see the renovations to our school. You will notice when you enter the building and see our new floors in the hallways and a new and improved lighting. Classrooms have new paint; dimmable lights and the science rooms have new floors. On the connections hallway, the Consumer Science classroom has been remodeled into our CTAE Engineering center. The art room has been painted, refloored, and has new cabinets. When you enter the gym, you will see a much brighter setting with a newly installed and painted wood floor. In addition to these changes, the building has a new AC system in each classroom, bathrooms have hands-free sinks, and water bottle refill stations in the halls. We hope you are as excited as we are to be in a great facility!

Our faculty and staff are equally excited and will work together to provide the best educational environment for our students. At Dobbins Middle School we are committed to our students and supporting our community. Parents, we feel it is a great privilege to work with your students each day. Academically, we will provide a positive classroom setting with a rigorous learning and teaching environment, so that when our students leave DMS they will be academic leaders continuously striving for greatness. Socially, we will engage our learners in activities to help them develop the skills necessary to establish successful relationships. We feel our purpose is to empower students academically, socially and be an active participant in the community.

Through positive, collaborative, and engaging relationships with our parents and our community, our school will continue to reach high levels of achievement and success. We are excited for the 2022-2023 school year; the challenges it will bring, and the successes we have yet to achieve. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
