Principal's Message

  • Welcome to the 2023/2024 School Year,

It is with great pleasure I welcome you to Dobbins Middle School. We are one year removed from having our renovations completed and you still notice the changes when you enter the building. All our classrooms were painted, had dimmable lights installed and the science rooms received new floors. On the connections hallway, the Consumer Science classroom was remodeled into our CTAE Engineering center. The art room was painted, refloored, and had new cabinets installed. When you enter the gym, you can see a much brighter setting from the newly installed lights, painted & sanded wood floor, and the painted walls. In addition to these changes, the building received a new AC system in each classroom, bathroom sinks are 100% hands free, and water bottle refill stations were placed in each hallway and the cafeteria.

Our faculty and staff are equally excited and will work together to provide the best educational environment for our students. At Dobbins Middle School we are committed to our students and supporting our community. Parents, we feel it is a great privilege to work with your students each day. Academically, we will provide a positive classroom setting with a rigorous learning and teaching environment, so that when our students leave DMS they will be academic leaders continuously striving for greatness. Socially, we will engage our learners in activities to help them develop the skills necessary to establish successful relationships. We feel our purpose is to empower students academically, socially and be an active participants in their community.

Through positive, collaborative, and engaging relationships with our parents and our community, our school will continue to reach high levels of achievement and success. We are excited for the 2023-2024 school year, look forward the challenges it brings, and the successes we have yet to achieve. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
