This year will be an exciting time for your child. You will see many changes and a great deal of physical and emotional growth in your child.

3rd grade is an important year in your child’s educational journey. Your child will learn many academic skills and continue to develop emotionally and socially. It is our challenge (as teachers, parents, and child) to work as a team to ensure that your child gains the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in school and in life.

This year, your child will be taught by the entire 3rd grade team at various times during small groups. You might want to check out the entire 3rd grade team's webpages also.

I live in Dallas with my husband, Andy, 2 daughters, Morgan and Lauren, and 2 cats, Cupcake and Mini. Morgan is a sophomore on a soccer scholarship at Dalton State and Lauren is a junior at East Paulding. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and watching both of my children compete in soccer. This will be my 25th year of teaching, all at Northside with most of those being in 3rd grade. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State in 1996 and my Master’s degree in 1999 and my Specialist’s degree in 2011 from Piedmont College.
