Nebo Elementary

  Let me take a moment to introduce myself!  I am Deborah Hawthorne and I began my career in education in 1981.  Since then I have taught in both Georgia and Florida, with a masters in Educational Leadership and an endorsement for gifted.  After 32 years of teaching students in pre k through fifth grade, I am pleased to say that I love what I do!   I can't imagine anything better than working with children.  I am very dedicated to my students and will do my very best to assist your child in reaching his or her full potential this year.

Our first grade team will work together to remediate and challenge each child, according to their needs, through our Needs Based Instruction.  Your child may be leaving my classroom for a portion of reading, math, or both, depending on individual needs.
