Nebo's Title I Program

  • schoolhouse

Nebo Elementary is a proud Targeted-Assistance (TA) Title I School. We value parent engagement and family-school partnerships as a means of ensuring student success.

Each Title I school in Paulding County has a Title I Instructional Lead Teacher (ILT). Heather Powers serves as the ILT at Nebo Elementary.  She can be reached at 770-443-8777 ext. 16004 or by email at hpowers@paulding.k12.ga.us.

School districts target the Title I funds they receive to public schools with the highest percentages of children from low-income families.

The Title I program’s focus is on improving student achievement and supporting parental involvement.  In Paulding County, Title I schools employ Title I Instructional Lead Teachers and Title I Teachers to support teaching, learning, and parent involvement through supplemental reading, language arts, and math instruction, professional learning for teachers, parent involvement opportunities, and parent resource centers.

Our website will be updated with beneficial Title I information regularly.
