East Paulding Middle

I am extremely excited about teaching your students Earth Science over the course of the 18-19 school
year. 6th Grade is a wonderful journey and it is amazing watching my
students grow over the course of the year.

I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in English
Literature. Once I began teaching, I received certification
in Middle School Science also. I have an unique brain, because this is not
one of the "normal" pairings. I have been lucky to have been able to teach
6th, 7th and 8th students. I enjoy reading, spending time with my precious
lil' dog Scout and all things Science Fiction and Science related. I am also the proud YaYa to my grandson Jude. 

I am extremely blessed to be a 13 year cancer survivor. I am an active
participant with the Relay for Life team here at our school. I enjoy seeing my students get excited and involved in the fight against Cancer. It is held every May at the Veteran's Park here in Paulding County.

 

I am also one of the coaches of the EPMS Academic Bowl Club. Our Academic Bowl won County last year, and I look forward to seeing what their accomplishments are this year.
