PSAT Information
Test Day Details:
- Date & Time: October 27, 2025 at 8:30 AM
- Location: East Paulding High School
- Parking: Use any visitor parking space.
- Check-In: Go to the front office upon arrival — your student will be directed to the testing room.
- Testing Duration: The PSAT is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, plus setup and a brief break.
- Estimated Pickup Time: Around 11:30 AM.
- Cell Phone Policy: Students cannot access phones until testing is finished.
What to Bring:
- Fully charged laptop
- Laptop charger
- Photo ID
- Driver’s license or passport OR
- If no official ID: complete the attached ID form, have it notarized, and send it with your student.
- Optional: Water and a snack
Technology Setup — MUST BE COMPLETED Before Test Day:
1. Bluebook App & Test Preparation
Please complete the College Board-required setup on your student’s laptop before arriving for testing.
Visit: The PSAT/NMSQT – SAT Suite | College Board
Complete the following:
- Download the Bluebook App (required to access the test)
- Watch: “Get Ready for the Digital PSAT/NMSQT”
- Review: “Learn What’s on the PSAT/NMSQT”
- Practice: Use Start Practicing within Bluebook on the same laptop that will be used for the actual test
Once installed:
- Locate the Bluebook icon on the desktop
- Open it and allow any updates to install
- Students may log in with their College Board account instead of a test ticket (they’ll use their official test ticket on test day)
- Choose “Test Preview” or “Practice Test” to get familiar with the format
College Board Account Setup:
College Board manages PSAT, SAT, and AP testing. Students will use the same account throughout high school, so it is important to set it up correctly only once.
- If your student already has a College Board account — do NOT create another one.
- If not, please follow these steps:
- Go to CollegeBoard.org and click Create Student Account
- Use a personal email address
- Ensure all student information is correct and matched the name used to register for PSAT (the form you filled out online).
- Complete registration (takes 3–5 minutes)
- Log out when finished
Payment Instructions (11th grade students only; 10th graders test at no cost):
- Go to the Payment Portal:
https://paulding.revtrak.net/East-Paulding-High-School/ephs-psat/ - Enter your student’s last name, first name, and grade level
- In the Student ID section, type “Homeschool”
- Submit payment and follow the prompts
- Save and keep the email receipt
