I am so ecstatic to be teaching 2nd grade this school year! This is my seventh year at Ragsdale Elementary. I have taught second grade for 3 years,  fifth grade for 2 years, and was an interrelated teacher for 2 years. I graduated from Kennesaw State University, magna cum laude, in May 2012 with my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I attended Piedmont College where I obtained a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Assessment in May 2018 AND a Specialist in Curriculum and Instructioin in 2019. 

I married my high school sweetheart, Steven, in October 2000. We have two beatiful daughters, Destiney and Lila. Destiney attends Kennesaw State University and Lila is going into 9th grade at Coosa High. Our family loves Disney and our animals' names are inspired by Disney characters. We have three dogs - Nala, Jack, and Evie, three turtles - Meeko, Crush, and Princess, and a cat - Autumn. We enjoy spending time together kayaking, sitting by the fire roasting marshmellows, beach trips, and DISNEY!!!
