Sherri McCoy is a registered nurse who has been a healthcare educator for the Paulding County School District for 10 years. She is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a graduate of the University of Phoenix with her Master of Science in Nursing.  

Prior to working in the classroom, Ms. McCoy practiced acute care clinical nursing in various specialties at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, and Cartersville Medical Center. She also spent several years as a school nurse in the Paulding County School District. Ms. McCoy is a certified instructor for the American Red Cross, and an adjunct instructor with Chattahoochee Technical College.  

Ms. McCoy enjoys hanging out as much as possible with her family, and loves reading, gardening, travel, and hiking. She is also a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs.
