We had a wonderful time celebrating Anna and Nellie for all of their accomplishments with their invention of the Grocery Eyes app they created in Mrs. Hunt's 4th grade Venture class last year as part of their invention unit. In March, they won the Diversity and Inclusion Award at the GA Tech K-12 InVenture Prize Competition. In June, they won the Inclusion award and a prize of $1,000 each at the RTX Invention Convention U.S. Nationals competition in Michigan. They were one of only 2 teams in Georgia to win at Nationals!

Finally, they were invited to participate in the RTX Americas Invention Convention between the U.S. and Mexico this July! The virtual awards ceremony was held on Thursday, and we enjoyed celebrating all of their accomplishments.
