Hi, my name is Jordan Londraville, and I am teaching fourth grade at C.A. Roberts Elementary. This will be my twentieth year teaching at Roberts and living in Georgia. I moved from a small town, Potsdam, in Northern New York to Georgia in the summer of 2002. I am very excited about this upcoming year and cannot wait to get started!

I graduated from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York in May 2002. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Elementary Education (K-6). I have a range of classroom experience from Kindergarten to twelfth grade. I also played for the Division II Men’s soccer team while I attended LeMoyne College.

My wife, Kelly, is also a teacher in Paulding County. She teaches first grade at Russom. Our son, Liam, turned nine in March. He will be in third grade. Our daughter, Jade, will turn six in August and will be in Kindergarten. It was wonderful being able to spend the whole summer with my family as we vacationed in upstate New York. We are very blessed.

My parents are both retired and still reside in upstate New York but get to visit often. My brother lives and works in Florida while my sister lives and works back home in New York. My sister and her husband have a one-year-old daughter, Grace, and I am honored to be her Godfather. I miss my family and friends back in New York, but I have felt very welcomed and at home since moving to Georgia!

In my free time, I love spending time with my family. We love to be play board games. At home, I’m usually playing with wrestlers with Liam or princesses with Jade. I enjoy reading. We are always on the go with sports as both kids play soccer and basketball. Currently, I am in my twelfth year of coaching girls’ soccer at North Paulding High School where we have had much success and been in the Georgia State Playoffs each year. Prior to coaching at NPHS, I was the head coach of the girl’s soccer team at East Paulding Middle School for eight years where we won the county championship in 2004 and in 2005 and I was named Coach of the Year in 2005.

I love watching and rooting for my favorite teams. I am a big fan of Syracuse University. Let’s go Orange! My favorite football team is the Philadelphia Eagles (Fly Eagles Fly!), my favorite basketball team is the Chicago Bulls, and my favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees! And I am super excited to have a Georgia team to cheer on… Atlanta United FC!

I was recognized as Teacher of the Year at Roberts in 2007. I have always known that I would become an educator since I was very young. Many of my teachers were big influences on me, one being my mother who is retired from teaching after 34 years of service (all teaching sixth grade math). I really enjoy working with children and cannot wait to get this year started!

It will be another great year in room 607! Let’s go Team Londraville!
