    Hello!  I am Ms. Blessitt.  I am currently teaching 2nd grade here at McGarity Elementary.  This is my 14th year of teaching elementary school.  I spent 3 years in Dahlonega, Ga teaching 3rd grade.  I then came back to Paulding County and began my time here at McGarity as a supply teacher in 3rd grade.  I then spent the next 5 years teaching 3rd grade, before moving to my current position in 2nd grade.  Although I enjoyed teaching 3rd grade, I have fallen in love with 2nd grade and believe it is a great grade/age level to teach! 
     
    I am excited to be working with your children this year!  I believe we will have a great year, with many fun and challenging things to learn.  I look forward to getting to know your child this year and what interests them.  I also look forward to working with you, the parents, this year to ensure your children have a successful school year.
