B.S. in Mathematics Education, 1990, Southeastern Louisiana UniversityI have been teaching mathematics since 1993. I taught at Hiram High School for 12 years before coming to New Hope. I have taught in public and private schools in Louisiana, Florida and in four different counties in Georgia. I have taught in both middle schools and high schools.
FAMILY
My husband of 30 years, David, teaches elementary school in Cobb County.
My son, Kody, graduated from Hiram High School, attended Oklahoma City University, majoring in Fine Arts and then attended UGA's School of Law. He works as a Staff Attorney for a state judgein Hall County.
My daughter, Kassidy, graduated from East Paulding High School, attended UGA majoring in Early Childhood Education and then attended KSU for her masters degree. She teaches fifth grade in Paulding County.
