Dear Parents, 

Hello.  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  I am looking forward to getting to know your child.  It will be an interesting year, but I am excited to be back in the classroom with the kiddos.  

Along with our two sons, my husband Gary and I have lived in Paulding County for nineteen years.  Part of our decision to move to this area was so that our sons could attend Shelton Elementary.  I am proud to be part of the great staff at Shelton.  

I am a graduate of Clemson University.  I completed a master level endorsement at Kennesaw State University.   I am dual certified in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have over 26 years of teaching experience.  I have taught in many different grade levels, but second grade is one of my favorites.  I look forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm to our classroom this year. 

Second grade is an exciting and challenging time for students as they continue to grow and learn. We will be learning many exciting new things while building on past learning.  I can’t wait to see all that these students will accomplish this year.
