• Welcome to fourth grade! I am looking forward to a wonderful and exciting new year with your child. This is my 12th year teaching, and my first year as a Roberts Rocket!! I spent ten years at Baggett Elementary and I also taught fourth grade in Bartow County for a year. I spent three years as an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher. As an EIP teacher, I taught reading and math to students at various levels. My teaching experience has hit all grade levels (K-5th) in elementary school. I switched things up a bit by teaching first grade for three years, and now things have come full circle as I am back, happily teaching fourth grade for the fourth (six total) year in a row!!

I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2005 with Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Early Childhood Education for grades Pk-5. I received my Reading Endorsement certification in 2006. In February 2009 I obtained my Masters degree from Walden University in the area of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for grades Pk-12. In July 2010 I received my Specialist degree from Piedmont College in the area of Teaching and Learning for grades Pk-12. I finished my Gifted Endorsement certification in May of 2015.
