Class of 2024 REACH Scholars

REACH Georgia provides academically promising students the academic, social, and financial support needed to graduate from high school, access college, achieve post-secondary success and be prepared for the 21st Century workforce.

Today, three PCSD students were named Class of 2024 REACH (Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen) Scholars in a special ceremony at the PCSD central office. Paulding County's Class of 2024 REACH Scholars are:

Katrina Gipson - South Paulding Middle School
Heaven King - Moses Middle School
Chloe Powers - Scoggins Middle School

PCSD Superintendent Dr. Brian Otott, Paulding Education Foundation Exec. Director Jim McMichen, and PCSD REACH Coordinator Jana Steagall, led the presentation, the issuance of the REACH pledge and commitment, and the signing of the scholarships. Also in attendance were members of each scholar's family, the Education Foundation board of directors, and principals of the K-12 schools each scholar has attended and will attend.

Congratulations to Katrina, Heaven and Chloe, PCSD's Class of 2024 REACH Scholars!
