New Classroom Wing at Northside ES Opens

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held July 8, 2025, for a new 20-classroom addition at Northside Elementary School.
The additionincludes 26,000 square feet of new classroom space to accommodate the school's growing enrollment
of more than 600 students.

Members of the Paulding County Board of Education including Board Chair Debbie Collett, Adam Clayton, and
Theresa Lyons were in attendance, along with Superintendent Steve Barnette, PCSD Central Office staff, Northside
ES administrators (including new Principal Lindy Beyeah). Representatives from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office
also showed their support for the major project.

Special recognition goes to R. K. Redding Construction, Inc. and Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) Architects for the
outstanding job they did completing the project on time and on budget.

Following the ceremony, everyone was invited inside the school's new addition for a tour of the classrooms.
