- Summer Opportunities

Welcome to Summer 2021! Summer Learning is an opportunity for students to continue their path to success through extending the school year. PCSD offers a broad array of options for students to participate in community and school camps, enrich their understanding of key skills with summer school, clear incompletes or recover work through Intercession, and accelerate with new credit. Both in-person and virtual offerings exist. In most cases, transportation from a satellite location to the summer program location is available, as well as food services. There is no cost for participating in summer programs, unless you are an 8th-12th grade student taking acceleration new credit courses through New Hope Learning Center.

Whether your child is in Kindergarten or headed off to college, our academic team has gathered plenty of activities, ideas and resources for you to explore and access in the summer months ahead. Does your child love math, writing, science or STEM? We have it covered. There are plenty of things for you to do as a family or as an individual to continue learning! We wish you a very happy, healthy and safe summer break and we will look forward to hearing about your child’s adventures when school begins again!
